Westmalle Tripel

After having the Westmalle Dubbel recently I was excited to give this beer a try. The beer poured hazy and golden with a thick white head. It looked very appealing. I could smell some fruit and sweetness and some hint of alcohol. It had flavors of tart fruit and it was a little sour. It was pretty intense tasting and it was also very carbonated. I think it tasted kind of like a super pale ale. At first I thought I could taste the alcohol a bit more than I like but I was definitely impressed and I enjoyed the beer more as I drank it.
