I had this
beer the first time I went to Prague. I just picked it off a menu based on the description and was impressed with how smooth and stout like it tasted. I figured when I saw it at the festival that I should have another.
It looked almost black and inviting but not quite as cool as
their website. I could smell some malt and caramel. The flavor was enjoyable with roastiness and caramel as well as lighter coffee and chocolate notes. It also had a mild bitterness which was pleasant. It was drinkable but not quite remarkable. I gladly drank it but wouldn't be sad if I never have the chance to drink it again.
Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
